Online Student
My experience as a online student, thus far, has been wonderful. I do like the flexibility of having the option of creating my own schedule. However, I find that I have to stick to a strict, and organized schedule to maintain my grade average. I love the interactions on the discussion boards and seminars. They both not only allow me to express what I think, but also get the input of others.

Time management is definitely key for good grades as well as sanity while accomplishing school work. One of the things that I have noticed with being an online student is that since it is online and we work at our own pace I see a lot of surrounding people forget that just because we aren't driving to a campus for class doesn't mean we don't have work to do and that our online work is time consuming. Changing schedules, moving, roommates, kids, all affect managing time and sometimes it's difficult to get out of habits. One of the things I like to do is sign on to seminar early so that there is time to chat with the class and the professor before class starts.
