Writing Process

Hello everyone, We are at the end of another term, and I must admit that I enjoyed better than I originally that I would. The advice that I would give anyone taking this class is to stay on schedule and do not procrastinate. Do your readings each week and do proper research for your paper.I feel that I have improved in my writing skills, but I can still use alot of practice. I have improved in my reading, which is something that I definately needed to do.Previously, I thought of writing as a dreadful experience, but I am glad to say that I enjoy it now. I believe this blog also helped me tremendously. Our professor in this class was an awesome educator, and all of you were wonderful. All the best to all of the wonderful individuals I met in this class.

Myself and Writing

Hello everyone, At this point, I have come to enjoy writing. Although writing is a process that takes alot of practice, I think I have made progress in my writing skills. I no longer think of writing as a chore, or something that I must do. It has become enjoyable and exciting. I have also learned to read more, not just for my academics. I would like to thank all of my wonderful classmates and professor for a wonderful class and term.

Continue my blog

Hello everyone, I hope eveyone is havving a good week. We are now getting into the final weeks of our classes. It has been an adventure and a pleasure to get to know most of you through you writings. You can tell alot about a person and their personality through their writing. I have to admit that when were first assigned to start our blogs, I was not very much excited about it. However, I have found that blogs are way of expressing yourself and improving your writing skills. They are also a place where you can feel a sense of releif by letting out problems you are having. I plan on continuing by blog, I find them very beneficial.

Peer Review

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is having a good week. I can not believe that is week seven already, but it is. In my post for this week I decided to post about peer review. I think it is a wonderful concept, because your peers can see things in your writings that you can not. I welcome all advice from all my peers, and my professors as well. I find that I am continually learning new techniques and ideas, and will continue to do so even after graduation from Kaplan. In my opinion, peer review will also be something that I will welcome in the professional world also. I feel that I am never too old to learn new concepts, and I feel that learning is a continuous process that I will always welcome.

The events of the last six weeks.

Hello everyone, The last six weeks have been a learning experience in both of my classes. Anatomy & Physiolgy and College Comp.II, both have been very interesting and educational for me. I believe I get more out of my classes because it is something that I really strive for and enjoy. I set a goal for myself from the very beginning of my enrollment at Kaplan, so my last six weeks have been simply sticking to that schedule, study habits, and the goals that I set back in Nov. 2009. I am now in the stage in both of my classes where it is crucial to stay on schedule, and maintain a steady pace. I have to say, however, that it is all worth it when you reach the finish line, and see the results.

Academic Life

Hello everyone, This week I decided to do a post on my academic life, and changes I have experienced so far. All of the changes have been positive ones, and I could not be any happier that I decided to persue my education. I have learned alot about my personality since starting at Kaplan University. I have learned to be more patient and organized, and to not afraid to ask for help if I need it. Taking this course and Comp.I was definately a plus. Learning how to put your point across down on paper, and drawing a audience in at the same time is really exciting. I must admit, when I first took Comp.I,I thought I would not like the writing process, punctuation, and the citations. I have really come to enjoy the writing process, and all of my classes. Plus I have become more of a reader since my start at Kaplan. Overall, I feel that I am more in touch with my feelings, and my experience at Kaplan will be on that I will always remember with joy.

Plagarism

Hello everyone, In my opinion, plagarism is just wrong on so many different levels. One is that of moral issue. I would think if you respect yourself and others, you know that stealing something rather it me someone's work or material things is not holding yourself to acceptable standards. I would think that accomplishing a task, or project, and knowing that it is all your idea and input is so gratifying. To me it is a wonderful feeling knowing that you can do your own work with your mind and noone else's.
